Story

Fight For Survival

Lancelot and Jericho

Lancelot spent three years in another dimension with his sister Jericho when he was just ten. The conditions were harsh, forcing them to fight constantly for survival. When they returned, both were stronger, but Lancelot’s growth was more significant. His rapid evolution gave him power comparable to a Deadly Sin.

In The Four Knights of the Apocalypse, Lancelot appears as a small red fox with the codename “Sin.” Percival first sees him after leaving his old home, but Lancelot ignores him. Later, during Percival’s fight against Pellegarde, Lancelot uses an incantation orb to retreat with Percival and Donny. He teleports them to the Dragon’s Backbone and explains the situation involving Arthur and Camelot. Though Donny was skeptical at first, he eventually agrees to follow Lancelot.

Echo Gorge

While hunting for food, Percival stumbles upon Echo Gorge. Meanwhile, Lancelot observes Donny trying to hunt a rabbit with a bow and arrow. After Donny misses, Lancelot taunts him for his lack of skill. Donny then tries to capture a deer but accidentally hits a giant named Dolores, who barely gets hurt. Lancelot comments on Dolores’ faith in the Goddess race instead of Great Earth. Soon after, two fairies warn them about a human entering Echo Gorge, a place full of dangerous creatures. Lancelot immediately realizes it’s Percival and goes to find him. When they arrive, they discover that Nasiens, a herbalist known for his eccentricity, was actually trying to save the gorge. Lancelot remains silent during this.

Confrontation against Talisker

Afterward, Lancelot explains to Nasiens that the “forest disease” affecting the gorge impacts not only the plants but also the soil. Chaos Knight Talisker then appears in the form of a fairy, controlling Nasiens’ father, Ordo, with a chaos staff. Without hesitation, Lancelot shoots Talisker’s fairy form with an arrow, forcing him to reveal his true form.

Lancelot lets Percival fight Talisker, believing it will help him grow and learn more about his own magic. Although Percival defeats Talisker, Lancelot notes that he still has a long way to go. When Dolores uses Heavy Metal, a magical ability that turns her body into metal for defense, Lancelot is the only one who recognizes the ability and explains how it works. He also identifies the chaos staff left behind by Talisker and destroys it, allowing Ordo to return to normal. No one else knew what the staff was or how to reverse Talisker’s spell. Lancelot explains everything to Percival and Donny.

As they leave Echo Gorge, Nasiens reveals his desire to join the group. Lancelot supports him, recognizing that Nasiens’ knowledge of poisons and magic could be valuable.

Sistana

They continue to Sistana, where Percival aims to find a piece of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. Lancelot notices the fragment and questions Anne, who tries to protect it. She eventually trusts them and hands over the fragment after seeing no deceit in Percival. Lancelot explains its importance and advises against fighting Ironside, fearing it would endanger the people of Sistana. He questions whether Percival is ready to face Ironside and what the holy knight wants with the coffin, showing his cautious and clever approach.

To learn more about Ironside’s plans, Lancelot and the group spy on his speech to the people of Sistana. Lancelot quickly realizes that Ironside intends to sacrifice the townspeople to activate the coffin. He suggests leaving the city with the remaining fragment, but Anne interrupts, exposing Ironside’s lies. Lancelot urges retreat, but Percival charges forward to confront Ironside, disrupting the plan. Lancelot tries to recover the fragment they had hidden, but it’s too late. One of Ironside’s allies, disguised as a maid, had already taken it and handed it to Ironside, who begins the ritual.

As Percival and Anne regroup with Lancelot, he advises them to stay calm and focus on retrieving at least one piece of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. Although he doesn’t reveal his plan, Lancelot stays in the town to protect the people from the monsters created by the coffin.
