Daemon is a pretty wild character in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. His name literally means “demon” in Japanese, which feels fitting when you see what he’s like. He’s young, confident, and crazy strong. He’s part of the Kara organization, a group of villains, and works alongside his older sister, Eida. Together, they’re a tough pair to deal with. Let’s break him down, what he’s like, what he can do, and what makes him tick.
Who Is Daemon?
Daemon is a kid, but he’s far from harmless. At first glance, he seems playful and a little silly, almost like a regular mischievous child. He’s always smiling, cracking jokes, and messing with people. But behind all that is a darker side. Daemon actually enjoys causing chaos and watching people squirm. He’s not just teasing for fun, he likes making others uncomfortable or scared.
One thing about Daemon, though, is how much he cares about his sister, Eida. He’ll do anything to protect her. She’s one of the only people he seems to genuinely love and trust. Around her, he shows a softer side, which is rare for someone like him. But when it comes to everyone else, he’s either messing with them or ready to fight.
Daemon knows he’s powerful, and it shows in how he acts. He’s super confident, maybe even cocky at times. He loves showing off his strength and watching people realize they can’t do much against him. But that confidence can get him into trouble, too. Sometimes, he assumes he’s untouchable and doesn’t take his opponents seriously. That can backfire.
Daemon’s backstory
Daemon and Eida were created by a scientist named Amado, who was building super-powerful cyborgs to fight a major enemy, Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Most of these cyborgs didn’t survive, but Daemon and Eida did. For a while, they were hidden away by another Kara member named Boro.
Eventually, Eida teamed up with Code, another Kara member. She told him to wake Daemon up, and the moment Daemon came out of stasis, he made an impression. He jumped on Code’s back like it was nothing and started asking if Code was Eida’s new boyfriend. Then, when Boro’s guards attacked, Daemon didn’t even flinch, he just reflected their attacks and wiped them out instantly. From that point on, he became one of Kara’s key fighters.
Daemon’s powers
Reflection Ability
Daemon’s main power is reflecting attacks back at whoever tries to harm him. If someone swings at him or even thinks about hurting him, the attack bounces back and hits them instead. The stronger their intent to hurt him, the stronger the reflection. What’s crazy is that this works automatically—Daemon doesn’t have to think about it or do anything to activate it. It’s like a built-in defense system.
His reflection ability also protects him from mind attacks. If someone tries to mess with his head, it just bounces back to them. It’s almost impossible to attack him without hurting yourself in the process.
Hand-to-Hand Combat
Daemon isn’t just about his reflection power. He’s also a beast in physical combat. He’s strong enough to snap someone’s neck with a single kick, and he’s fast enough to dodge most attacks. If anyone tries to fight him up close, they’re in for a bad time.
Teleportation
Daemon can also teleport, which makes him even harder to deal with. He moves so quickly that it’s almost impossible to catch him off guard. He uses this to dodge attacks or surprise his opponents during a fight.
What Are His Weaknesses?
As strong as Daemon is, he’s not unbeatable. He has a few weak spots that can be used against him:
- Chakra Limits
His reflection power drains chakra. If he uses it too much, he can run out of energy and lose his main defense. - Environmental Damage
Things like fire, water, or lightning can still hurt him. His reflection ability doesn’t work against natural forces like that. - Healing Techniques
If someone uses healing jutsu or something that doesn’t have harmful intent, his reflection power won’t activate. - Specific Targeting
If someone aims at a part of his body he doesn’t have—like a missing limb—his reflection ability won’t kick in. - Teleportation Tricks
Techniques like Flying Thunder God can teleport him to a dangerous location, which bypasses his defenses. - Poison
While his reflection might protect him at first, things like poison can still hurt him over time if he’s exposed long enough.
