Morel Mackernasey’s Smoke Troopers are perhaps his most impressive display of Nen manipulation. This ability allows him to conjure up to 50 autonomous puppets made entirely from smoke. - Fight with Leol One of Morel’s best fights is against Leol, a Chimera Ant who can steal Nen powers. Leol traps Morel in a room that starts to flood, hoping to drown him. But Morel stays calm, uses the oxygen in his pipe to keep breathing, and defeats Leol by outlasting him. This fight shows just how smart and resourceful Morel is.
- Supporting the Team Morel plays a big role in helping Knov and the others during the mission. His smoke abilities protect his teammates and stall enemies, giving them time to carry out their plans.

Who is Stronger: Hisoka or Morel?
Morel and Hisoka are very different fighters. Hisoka focuses on one-on-one combat; he’s more suitable for that. Especially after his power-up in the manga, there’s no way Morel can take this one. Morel is someone who works well in groups and planned battles, but he can also hold his own in one-on-one combat. It would not be easy for Hisoka, as Morel is an extremely experienced fighter and doesn’t choke against opponents that are stronger than him. So it wouldn’t be necessarily easy, but in almost all cases, Hisoka would win.
What Happens to Morel?
Morel survives the Chimera Ant arc, which is impressive considering how many characters don’t make it. After the mission, he continues his work as a Hunter. The anime doesn’t show much of what he does next, but it’s clear he’s still a respected member of the Hunter Association.
